About Dr. Robertson

Dr. Robertson is a board-certified plastic surgeon who believes that exceptional results begin with truly listening to his patients. Known for his meticulous attention to detail and his commitment to natural-looking outcomes, he takes the time to understand each patient’s unique goals and concerns — ensuring that every decision made is one they feel confident and comfortable with.

Dr. Robertson brings years of experience and a breadth of expertise that spans both cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. He is a member of multiple prestigious medical societies, and has shared his work on cosmetic breast surgery, breast reduction, and body contouring at state, regional, and national conferences — reflecting a depth of knowledge that benefits every patient in his care.

Dr. Robertson earned his undergraduate degree from Duke University and his M.D. from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham. He completed his general surgery residency at the University of Kentucky, where he was selected by his faculty to serve as Administrative Chief Resident — a reflection of both his clinical skill and the trust his peers placed in him. He went on to complete his plastic surgery residency at UAB, distinguishing himself in cosmetic surgery, body contouring, and complex breast and facial procedures.

Beyond his practice, Dr. Robertson is deeply committed to using his skills to serve those in need. Since 2003, he has served as the head plastic surgeon for the Children’s Rehabilitation Services Cleft Lip and Palate Clinic, providing life-changing care to children in Alabama. He is also a director of the Robinson Foundation Medical Mission, through which he has traveled to Honduras twice a year since 2017 to perform charitable surgeries — including cleft lip and palate repair, burn reconstruction, pediatric hand surgery, and complex facial reconstruction — for patients who would otherwise have no access to care. This dedication to giving back reflects the same compassion and attention to detail that defines his work every day in Montgomery.
