Microneedling using a SkinPen® is the non-invasive treatment in which a rapid microneedling technique is used to create small punctures in the area treated. Microneedling is a very recent and effective technique to rejuvenate the appearance of facial tissue and improve the appearance of wrinkles.
The process is relatively pain free and can be done in office with the use of topical numbing cream. Microneedling can be used to treat acne scars, fine lines, scars, stretch marks and pigmentation. Skin Resurfacing Options
Skin resurfacing can be a great option for patients suffering from aging skin, acne, sun damage, wrinkling and fine lines.
Skin resurfacing can be done using both chemical peels and laser resurfacing done in office or the operating room. Dependent upon the patient’s goals, our physicians may determine that a more aggressive treatment plan done in the operating room is in the patient’s best interest. Commonly, laser resurfacing can be done in office with minimal discomfort.
